The Circle Embrace

‘A place to be embraced by ourselves, by others, and by the moment.’

The Heart of Circle Work

A Circle is an age-old way of gathering, where we sit together in shared space to listen, reflect, and honour each other’s stories.

Rooted in ancient and cross-cultural traditions, a Circle invites us to slow down, be present, and connect, both with ourselves and with others. There’s no hierarchy, no performance, no pressure to speak. In this space, every voice matters, and silence is equally welcome.

This is not a place for fixing, offering advice, or trying to solve problems. Instead, we practice deep listening, witnessing one another's stories, curiosity, and care.

You’re invited to come just as you are whether that is joyful, tired, tender, or anything in between and be met with compassion. Whether you share or simply listen, your presence is enough.

Together, we will honour the differences that shape us and the threads that connect us.

Circle is not therapy, although it can be deeply healing.
It’s not a performance but a quiet, powerful practice:
The practice of being, feeling, and belonging.

“A circle is a way of doing things that allows us to be with each other differently—more honestly, more respectfully, and more humanely.”
— Parker J. Palmer

What to Expect

Each Circle is a gently held space for reflection and connection. While each gathering is unique, it typically includes:

  • An Opening and Closing Ritual to cross over the threshold of circle space.

  • A Guided Meditation to help you arrive and drop into your internal world.

  • Quiet Time for Personal Reflection, whether through journaling, reflective questions, stillness, or simply noticing what’s present

  • Opportunities to Share with no expectation to speak.

  • Deep Listening; space to listen and hear and witness beyond words.

My Journey with Circle

I first experienced a Circle at a healer’s day retreat. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I found moved me deeply. For the first time in a long while, I felt a sense of true belonging, where I didn’t have to perform, explain, or be anything other than myself. I left feeling deeply moved  held, heard and connected, with a pull to find more of these spaces.

That experience awakened something in me: a longing for more spaces like this - gentle, honest, and human. Spaces where silence is welcome, where stories are held with care, and where we can show up just as we are.

This led me to train with Sister Stories, where I learned to hold Circles in a way that is ethical, inclusive, and rooted in presence. Now, I’m ready to begin offering these spaces, softly and intentionally, as part of my work in the world.

I believe in the quiet power of the Circle: to help us feel seen, to reconnect us with ourselves and each other, and to remind us that being human is enough.

“When you put people in a Circle, it changes things. You see each other. You hear each other. You remember that we belong to each other.”
— Margaret J. Wheatley

What I’m Offering

In the coming months, I’ll be introducing different Circles, each one created with care and intention. Some will be open to all. Others will be designed to meet the needs of specific communities or experiences. Some will be on line and some will be in person in Wiltshire. All are adult spaces age 18+

NeuroEmbrace- Coming Soon

This Circle is created with neurodivergent individuals at the heart. It is designed to centre the needs, rhythms, and ways of being that are often overlooked in neurotypical spaces.

Whether you identify as neurodivergent or are still exploring, this is a space for reflection, support, and shared experience. You are welcome to arrive just as you are, in whatever way feels most supportive for you. Feel free to bring your fidgets, stims, silence, or stories. Your comfort matters, and your presence is enough.

Together, we’ll create a place that feels gentle and spacious, where all ways of processing, participating, and connecting are welcome.

We’ll explore our neurodivergence, whatever that looks like for each of us, and begin building a space of acceptance, curiosity, and real connection.

Embracing Beyond the Binary- Coming Soon

A closed, supportive Circle space for trans, non-binary, and intersex people to land, rest, and be seen, without needing to explain or justify who you are.

This Circle is a space to speak your truth, or simply listen. To share what feels real: joy or grief, celebration or uncertainty, stories of becoming, or what you’re still holding quietly inside.

Together, we will honour queer experience in all its depth and complexity. The parts you’re proud of, the parts you’re still exploring, and the ones you rarely get to voice.

You’re invited to show up just as you are, in whatever way feels safe and comfortable. The space moves gently, guided by care, curiosity, and respect.
